A popular emerging technology that is beginning to spread to many aspect of life is the technology of virtual reality. According to Carol Huttar , "Virtual reality is a full-body experience in real time involving the use of electronic gear such as headsets and sensory gloves" (Huttar, p.1, 2018). Virtual Reality or VR for short was once seen only for gaming and entertaining purposes in the beginning of its creation, however, as time passed and people and companies begin to research and find more uses for VR such as medical, military, business, engineering, business and construction purposes. VR helps in all these fields and other fields because it helps people simulate and plan for real life events that can help them in the future. For example, the author ,Bernard Marr, states that, " Virtual reality tools already help surgeons plan surgery, individuals experience a travel destination even before they take flight, children learn in a simulated (but very real) walk on the moon and soldiers train for combat scenarios" (Marr, p.2,2019). The growth and development of virtual reality is making one of the most important technology today and in the future.

The benefits of Virtual Reality includes the training that VR can provide and the convivence of using VR. Virtual Reality can help people in different work profession fields such as medical, military and . It helps the trainee simulate dangerous and similar situation and scenarios that could appear in their work. Also the trainees can apply the skills and experiences they had in VR and grow in their profession and as a person. Ilya Dudkin said that VR can shorten the gap between veteran workers and rookies thus allowing them to grow into their roles faster" with the experience (Dudkin, p.2, 2019). People can also experience the live that would like to live in the future.

The cons of using Virtual Reality is addiction, health effects and loss in touch with human interaction. If someone uses VR than the recommended amount, Since there are no rules and regulations made in your own virtual reality world, a person can create a world that they like and would like to live in and forget that all of it isn't real. Also, there can be a lot of health effect when using VR such as dizziness, disorientation and nausea (Dudkin, p.3, 2019). This can happened when using VR and also using VR more than recommended amount daily. Lastly, when a person can lose touch with human interaction. With the user using VR making a reality that would like, they would rely on the world to make them be happy and enjoy life, and lead to depression and other health implication when in the real world. Virtual Reality can help with a lot of things in today's world, but needs to regulate and be used in the recommend daily amount of time.
